Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager (PMP Certified) to oversee our supply chain and material supply operations. The ideal candidate will be based in our Jacksonville, FL office and will be required to travel frequently to Central and South Florida. The Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring the successful planning, execution, and completion of projects, maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage supply chain and material supply projects from initiation to completion.
- Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
- Establish and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and vendors.
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
- Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Report and escalate to management as needed.
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
Qualifications:
- PMP certification is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in supply chain or logistics.
- Proven experience in managing supply chain and material supply projects.
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management software.
- Ability to travel frequently to Central and South Florida.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Experience in the defense sector is a plus.
